Clueless

He could no longer bear this gush of emotions,

It was little too much that he woke up once

feeling hollow and heavy

He falsely confessed to her, “It’s better, feeling full and fresh”

She was clueless as always

Yet for once everything seemed distinct and divergent.

She longed to believe that this was his way of

locking away the unspoken words forever in fear of

never being able to speak them.

But she could no longer believe what she tells herself.

And again she feels same as him

hollow and heavy.
