Spark

People say when you see the ONE,

you will know it right away, and feel that spark.

I don’t believe in loving someone you don’t know.

So, love at first sight wasn’t my thing.

The first time I laid my eyes on him,

he was just a boy and I was just a girl.

No butterflies, no sparks.

Funny though, I remember his glance quite well.

Never knew, time can be a healer and a charm.

Love crept through the little moments

of deep conversations and real effort.

And, he was no longer an ordinary boy.
